Walt Disney World and AdventHealth already had a relationship previously but today the two companies announced and even larger partnership to bolster health care across the resort.
Today, AdventHealth is now the official health care provider of the Walt Disney World resort. Continuing from the already existing relationship will be health care services with runDisney and the events at ESPN Wide World of Sports. New online planning tools and a dedicated AdventHealth care concierge experience will help guests. Things like assistance with doctor’s visits, virtual care, and medical equipment and prescription delivery to Walt Disney World resort hotels will be part of this expanded partnership.
That is not all though. A brand new 20,000 square foot AdventHealth facility with emergency room will be coming soon to Flamingo Crossings Town Center on Walt Disney World property. Disney is also adding new touches and changes to the Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando. More enhancements will be looked at in the future as well.
We hope you don’t have to have these services while at Walt Disney World but it is a great option to have if needed.
