Today during the Walt Disney Company annual shareholders meeting, Bob Chapek commented on the program and that there are hopes it returns this fall.
There is currently no specific date for restarting the Disney College Program but given the promising covid pandemic trends Disney is confident the program could return this year. The program was shut down back in March 2020 due to the pandemic and has yet to restart. Chapek did note that the program is important to the domestic theme parks. One shareholder did ask about exceptions being made to give those who missed out on the opportunity to do the program due to the pandemic. Bob Chapek did not have a direct answer but said it is something they could look into.
