After being closed since March of 2020 due to the pandemic, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is finally reopening January 2nd, 2022! Along with this, Disney’s Blizzard Beach will be closing for refurbishment on January 2nd.
To help celebrate the reopening and the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary, Typhoon Lagoon will have some special additions.
Create Your Own DOLE Whip
Snack Shack next yo Typhoon Tilly’s will be home to an all new frozen dessert bar. You can mix and match your favorite DOLE Whip flavors including mango, pineapple, lime and raspberry. Adults can even add tequila, coconut rum or dark rum to their dessert.
50th Anniversary Menu Items
Guests will be able to enjoy Walt’s Chili Nachos, an EARidescent Ice Dream Cone and more at Typhoon Lagoon when it reopens.
