Halloween time at Disneyland Resort returns this fall! From September 3rd through October 31st, guests will be able to take part in the spooky fun.

At Disneyland park, Main Street U.S.A. will have its familiar Mickey Mouse jack-o-lantern and carved pumpkins throughout. Disney characters will be in their Halloween best as well. Over in New Orleans Square, Haunted Mansion Holiday will be back for its beloved overlay themed after “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Every night during the season, “Halloween Screams,” a projection and special effects show will take place and on weekends it will be enhanced with fireworks!

Over at Disney California Adventure, popular attractions will be transformed for the Halloween season. Radiator Springs will become Radiator Screams, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree becomes Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Rolickin’ Roadters will change into Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween! Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will bring back its popular Monsters After Dark overlay, and of course decor will be up throughout Buena Vista Street.

Plaza de la Familia will return from September 3rd through November 2nd, as Dia de los Muertos is celebrated. Several times a day, “A Musical Celebration of Coco,” a street show will show the everlasting bonds of family. There will also be a photo opportunity with the hand animated future of Miguel from Coco!

Oogie Boogie Bash is back! On 25 select nights between September 9th and October 31st, the separate ticket event will take place in Disney California Adventure. Guests of all ages can trick-or-treat their way through the park in their favorite Halloween costumes. “Frightfully Fun Parade.” Villain’s Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge, “Mickey’s Ticket & Treat” show and more are returning as well! Tickets will go on sale beginning Tuesday, July 13th, 2021.
