Happy DOLE Whip Day! Disney Celebrates the iconic snack in many ways

Today, Disney is celebrating DOLE Whip day across the Disney Parks & Resorts. This iconic snack has been a Disney staple for years. Dole Packaged Foods become the sponsor of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room back in 1976 and sold DOLE Pineapple Juice and Pineapple Spears at the park. DOLE Pineapple Whip first debuted in 1984 at Magic Kingdom park! In 2017, the iconic snack debuted on the Disney Cruise Line as well.

The Polynesian Village Resort is reopening its doors today and to celebrate a brand new Moana themed DOLE Whip treat debuted. The Pineapple Lanai is offering a “Tomato-inspired” cone with Dole Whip raspberry swirled with Dole Whip orange. It is available today through July 21st. Along with that, the fan favorite Trader Sam’s Group Grotto reopens at the resort! You can once again enjoy the tiki inspired bar filled with fun drinks and experiences.
