Disney Cruise Line President Thomas Mazloum and Captain Minnie Mouse joined the Broward County Commission to celebrate a new agreement naming Port Everglades as Disney’s second year-round homeport.
This 15-year partnership includes a minimum of 10.6 million passenger movements and three 5-year extension options that could add another 11.25 million passenger movements. The agreement includes one ship to be home-ported in Port Everglades year-round beginning in fall 2023. A second ship will join seasonally in 2025. Disney’s original homeport is Port Canaveral in Central Florida.
