Disney has announced today that Adventures by Disney trips that begin January 12th, 2022 and after will require guests to be fully vaccinated prior to travel. Proof of negative test will not be an option if unvaccinated.
Trips prior to January 12th will allow guests to be vaccinated or provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within five days of the trips departure. Certain trips may already require vaccination due to the destination of the trip.
In consideration of guidance from the CDC, Adventures by Disney accepts the following vaccine types: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca.
The CDC defines fully vaccinated as 14 days after receiving:
- A single-dose of an accepted 1-dose vaccine
- The second dose of an accepted 2-dose vaccine
Guests on trips through May 31, 2022, may modify their travel date or cancel their trip without any Adventures by Disney-imposed cancellation fees by contacting Disney or their travel agent.
