As Carnival continues to adjust its fleet plans for 2022 and has made updates to its deployment through October 2022.
In early March, four Carnival ships will move around to being the remaining U.S. homeports back to service. Carnival Elation will move from Port Canaveral to Jacksonville from April 23rd to October 13th, 2022. Carnival Freedom will move from Miami to Port Canaveral to take on itineraries formerly assigned to Carnival Elation. Carnival Spirit will take over previously assigned sailings from Carnival Freedom, including the April 17th sailing from Miami through the Panama Canal to Seattle.
Carnival Spirit will operate Alaska cruises from May through September 2022. These sailings ill go on sale today. Carnival Splendor will reposition to Seattle and take on sailings currently assigned to Carnival Freedom.
After the summer season in Alaska, Carnival Splendor will return to Australia with a new journeys cruise to Sydney, Australia that will go on sale soon.
Carnival Spirit will sail the Carnival Journeys cruise back through the Panama Canal to Miami that was previously on the Carnival Freedom.
Guests impacted by these changes will be notified. Guests will also not have access to their reservations for up to two weeks as Carnival makes these changes.
