St. Patrick’s Day is quickly approaching and there is no better place to celebrate at Walt Disney World than Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant. The annual Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival returns this year from March 11th through the 17th.
Irish Fare & Brews
New to the festival in 2022 will be a locally crafted seltzer, called “So Berry Les.” The name is a tribute to John Cooke’s (co-owner of Raglan Road Pub and Cooke’s of Dublin) father Les, who was in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1977 for strawberry buying. So Berry Les was crafted in collaboration with Crooked Can Brewing Co. in Winter Garden, FL. This will be a light and refreshing hard seltzer infused with local Florida strawberry and key lime juice.
For the food, you can’t go wrong with the famous fresh-caught fish and chips. These can also be ordered at the Cooke’s of Dublin counter to go. There are also other authentic Irish dished such as Shepherd’s to Die for Pie or the plant based pie, This Shepherd Went Vegan.
The festival wouldn’t be complete without the live entertainment! This year, top bands will be flown in from Ireland including Jig Jam, known for their CeltGrass; the Lisa Canny Band, blending pop and hip-hop with Irish rhythm; Emerald Shore, trad music and more. Raglan Road Irish Dancers will also be performing throughout the festival!
On March 17th, Raglan Road will open at 10 a.m. and seating will be on a first-come first-served basis. Guests 18 and older will have a $20 cover charge. For those visiting March 11-16th, reservations are recommended and can be made through the My Disney Experience app.
