Today, Disney gave us more details on the new Boo Back event coming to Magic Kingdom over Halloween. The event will take place over 23 nights between August 10th and October 31st.

Special cavalcades will take place throughout the night including “Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade,” featuring Mickey Mouse and his pals dressed for the occasion. The “Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade,” features different Disney villains. “Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade,” will feature Jack Skellington, Sally and Oogie Boogie. Maleficient will also make an appearance as a fire breathing dragon!
Other characters will show up throughout the park including Miss Carlotta at Haunted Mansion, and Goofy and Chip ‘n’ Dale in their Halloween outfits. The Cadaver Dans will also have a special comeback from the dead performance.
Select snacks like ice cream treats and popcorn, along with select beverages are included in the cost of the Boo Bash. There will also be a variety of specialty food and drinks available for purchase including an Apple Ginger Dale frozen drink, and a Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake.
After the park closes to day guests over 20 attractions including things like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion will have short waits for all guests at the Boo Bash to enjoy. Disney PhotoPass will be available during the event to take special magic shots. Your Boo Bash ticket grants you admission to the Magic Kingdom as early as 7 p.m. and do not require a theme park reservation.
Pricing for the event does vary based on date. Tickets start at $129-$139, plus tax for August and September dates. For October tickets range from $159-$169, plus tax but Halloween will be $199 plus tax. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members will receive a $10 discount on tickets for August and September. Tickets for all guests go on sale June 15th, but if you are stating at select Walt Disney World resorts you can book as early as June 8th.
And in addition to all of that above, the Imagineering team will be bringing a new update to the Magic Kingdom fall decor. With Walt Disney World’s 50 anniversary beginning October 1st, special pumpkin coach decorations will add to the park’s EARidescence look for the celebration.
