Today, Disney Cruise Line has given us even more details on what is coming with the Disney Wish. First up, the all new Worlds of Marvel restaurant onboard the ship will be a one of a kind dining experience. This experience will include “Avengers: Quantum Encounter,” the most ambitious dining experience Disney has ever done.
This experience will bring in some of the mightiest and tiniest Super Heroes in a new larger than life showcase of quantum technology. It is more than a meal and a show.
Here us how Disney describes the experience:
“Avengers: Quantum Encounter” will follow Ant-Man and The Wasp as they embark on their first public speaking engagement on behalf of the Avengers. They are hosting a special presentation of the most powerful Super Hero technologies — such as Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s arc reactor and Ant-Man’s Pym Particles — giving the audience an up-close look at holographic models, field reports and iconic scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe displayed on the screens surrounding the room.
The highlight of this special event is a hands-on demonstration of the latest and greatest Pym Tech, the Quantum Core, which uses cutting-edge (and highly unstable) technology to shrink and grow targets at the push of a button. A few “misfires” will result in hilarious Ant-Man-style hijinks, but the real trouble begins when an unexpected villain shows up with a fearsome army in tow, eager to get their hands on this powerful quantum technology.

Each table will feature a Quantum Core that can cause objects to shrink and grow remotely. During the meal you will assist Ant-Man and The Wasp as they attempt some trials. The food will be inspired by Marvel Super Heroes locations as well, like Wakanda, Sokovia, and New York City.
That is not all though. The new quick and casual family dining option was announced. Marceline Market, inspired by Walt’s childhood home in Marceline, Missouri is a food hall using aspects of marketplaces from around the world. The ever changing menu will feature specialized offerings and seating will be both indoors and outdoors.
There will be 10 food stalls and a café style beverage bar in the center. Each station will be themed to beloved animated Disney films such as “Tangled,” “Ratatouille,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Zootopia” and more. This location will be casual, walk around dining for breakfast and lunch, followed with table-service dining for dinner.
Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods will be located in the middle of the upper decks. This will be the best place for families to grab quick bites for lunch, dinner, or snack time. Disney Cruise Line’s signature soft serve ice cream along with barbecue and Mexican inspired fare will be some of the things you can find at the Festival of Foods. Five uniquely themed food stalls will include: Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill and Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream.
The design is inspired by a seaside boardwalk featured in Mickey Mouse animated shorts. A shaded seating area will be a great spot for guests to enjoy their meals.
The Disney Wish sets sail in June 2022!
