Walt Disney World has announced today that they are starting the Disney College Program back up beginning as early as next month. Those whose program ended early due to covid can reapply beginning today. Applications for new program participants will begin May 5th, 2021.
Disney is temporarily making some changes to the program including eligibility requirements so that those who may have graduated during the pandemic can still apply. The Disney International Program and Disney Culinary Program will remain suspended for now.
With this Disney is opening their new state of the art housing location at Flamingo Crossings. Those who return to the program this summer will be among the first to call this place home. Disney notes they are relaunching the program with safety in mind. Participants will receive communication regarding procedures. They also note that occupancy of rooms will be modified as well as giving those who are fully vaccinated to room with others who are fully vaccinated.
Disney has also redesigned the Disney Programs website and streamlined many areas for easier use. More details will be released in the coming days.
