Disney KiteTails will take to the skies as part of the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebration October 1st! Set to take place several times a day in the Discovery River Theater, near DinoLand U.S.A. guests will be able to see all sorts of fun kites.
A team of performers will bring to life Disney characters from “The Little Mermaid,” “a bug’s life,” and “Finding Nemo!” The kites will be accompanied by world beat arrangements of Disney tunes. Watercraft will take enormous kite trains throughout the lagoon featuring characters from “The Lion King,” and “The Jungle Book.” Kites may even vary from show to show. Some are as large as 30 feet in length!
