Update: According to a statement given to WDWMagic.com from the Patina Group, the restaurant group is not hiring for international cultural representatives at this time.
A few restaurant groups are hiring at Walt Disney World right now. The Patina Group — which operates several locations throughout Walt Disney World Property — put out a notice that they are looking for international cast members. This would be part of the cultural representative program which has been fairly non-existent or shutdown since the pandemic began.
The posting from the Patina Group is specifically for the Italy pavilion and Disney Springs locations. Cultural representatives could work at any of the three dining venues at the Italy Pavilion or at Patina Group locations at Disney Springs. Those applying must be 18 years of age, speak English, have Italian nationality, and be available to work for 12 months. Positions do range from culinary, server, or host at the location you are working.
Hopefully this signals that one of the things that made Epcot special is returning. Many Walt Disney World fans loved getting to meet and interact with representations of the country they are exploring in Epcot.
Big River Grille & Brewing Works appears to be hiring brewers, cooks, management, and servers which could signal an opening coming soon. Big River Grille at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort has remained closed since the pandemic shutdown the restaurant. Currently the only major dining location open at the Boardwalk is Trattoria Al Forno and then for quick service the Boardwalk Bakery.
Big River Grille is another third party operated restaurant on Disney property. You can find the job postings for Big River Grille here.
Are you excited for the possibility of more dining option opening at Walt Disney World soon?
