After yesterday’s announcement about “The Little Mermaid” aboard the Disney Wish, Disney Cruise Line is sharing even more entertainment details today. “Disney Seas the Adventure” will debut in the Walt Disney Theatre this summer.
This all-new show begins with Captain Minnie handing over the reigns to Goofy who is a little unsure about his new responsibilities. With the help of some familiar friends, Goofy will embark on a musical adventure with Disney and Pixar stories to help him discover his inner captain.
Early on in the show, Goofy will learn about hard work making dreams come true when he meets Tiana during a performance of “Almost There” from “The Princess and the Frog.”
In the show’s grand finale, a cavalcade of characters join Captain Minnie and Goofy on stage for a new kind of send off, where characters will lead guests out to the Grand Hall for an unforgettable experience.
The show will include other numbers such as “Go with the Flow” from the “Finding Nemo – The Musical” show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom; a powerful medley of “Let it Go,” “How Far I’ll Go” and “Touch the Sky” performed by Disney heroines Elsa, Moana and Merida; and a bold rendition of “Go the Distance” with Hercules and a host of heroes from a variety of Disney films.
