Disneyland has announced dates for their nighttime spectaculars returning later this year. This includes things like “World of Color,” “Fantasmic” and “Main Street Electrical Parade.”

Returning on April 22nd, 2022, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks at Disneyland park. At Disney California Adventure, “World of Color” will return on April 22nd as well. Then on May 28th, 2022, “Fantasmic!” will return.

“Main Street Electrical Parade” will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022 and as part of that new additions will be added to celebrate. An all new grand finale sequence will be added inspired by Mary Blair and “it’s a small world.” The sequence will feature new and classic stories such as “Encanto,” “The Jungle Book,” “Ray and the Last Dragon,” “Aladdin,” “Coco,” “Mulan,” “Brave,” “The Princess and the Frog” and more. This new unit will cover 118 feet in length making it one of the longest floats in the parade’s history.

When “Disneyland Forever” returns, it will run weekends only (Friday through Sunday) and “Mickey’s Mix Magic” will run its projection only show during the week. Other shows will run on their regular schedule upon reopening.
