Downtown Disney at Disneyland is beginning a transformation filled with new dining, shopping and more! Today, Disney unveiled more about these upcoming changes.
Disney says the additions draw from Southern California mid-century modern architecture. The new west-end area will blend vibrant color palettes, design elements and patterns influenced by the region. There will be an open lawn for relaxation and future events.
Din Tai Fung will be joining the dining lineup at Downtown Disney with their handcrafted soup dumplings hand crafted right on site. This family-run restaurant will bring Chinese cuisine to the district where guests will be able to enjoy family style offerings in a new space near the new lawn area.
Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytan will be bringing his vision of Mexican cuisine to Paseo and Centrico in the locations currently occupied by Catal & Uva Bar. The restaurant and central courtyard bar and dining area will offer guests a multi-sensory experience.
Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen will be evolving as well. An all new “vibrant California energy and a fresh approach to the menu” will be coming to this beloved restaurant.
Fan favorite Earl of Sandwich will also be joining Downtown Disney in a special walk-up location beginning later this year!
