For the first time ever, fans will step into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Prime Video’s “Fallout,” in an all-new terrifying haunted house at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. The terror becomes a reality starting Friday, August 29 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 4 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Inspired by the award-winning global video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout became a worldwide sensation upon its debut on Prime Video in 2024. Set in the year 2296—two centuries after a devastating nuclear war—the cinematic series explores a post-apocalyptic world known as The Wasteland, a brutal and chaotic landscape overrun by mutated creatures. Meanwhile, remnants of humanity survive in underground luxury shelters known as Vaults, clinging to order amid the chaos above.
In this spine-chilling haunted house experience, fans will step directly into the gripping world of Fallout, coming face-to-face with iconic scenes and characters from the acclaimed Prime Video series. The terrifying journey begins deep underground in Vault 33, where guests follow vault dweller Lucy MacLean as she flees a gruesome massacre—only to uncover a sinister secret lurking beneath the surface.
From there, the chaos escalates as guests emerge into the irradiated remains of the Wasteland, dodging ruthless Scavengers and Raiders—desperate survivors willing to do whatever it takes to stay alive. Visitors must also watch out for horrifying mutated threats, including the grotesque RAD Roaches.
Along the way, guests will navigate iconic locations like the eerie Super Duper Mart and encounter unforgettable characters, such as The Ghoul—a radiation-scarred bounty hunter with a dark past—and Maximus, a young Brotherhood of Steel squire clad in imposing T-60 power armor. With danger lurking around every corner and unnervingly realistic sets, this haunted house will leave fans questioning whether escape from The Wasteland is even possible.
