Disney Cruise Line is sharing more details on what is to come with “The Little Mermaid” stage show aboard the all-new Disney Wish debuting this summer. This show will be a new original take on the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studio film.
This modern-day retelling of “The Little Mermaid,” guests will see iconic scenes and music in new ways as a cast of contemporary storytellers put a spin on the tale.
“Under the Sea” will be the biggest production number of the show with vocals, choreography and plenty of special effects. Cutting-edge puppetry will be used as well with friends like Sebastian and Flounder.
During “Kiss the Girl,” Sebastian will lead a chorus of sea creatures in a refreshed rendition of the melody as the audience is transported into the show. In a new twist, Ariel’s “inner-voice” will play an important role in the story.
