Each Friday, the Crescent Lake Club brings you the latest Foodie Find — a review of a dish, cocktail or even restaurant that you’ve been missing out on!

To celebrate the reopening of the Disneyland Resort in California, this week’s Foodie Find will pay tribute to the #MostPerfectSnack at the resort.

And no, I’m not talking about beloved churros.

But wait … let’s not rush. We’ve waited this long for Disneyland to reopen, so just a few more moments won’t kill us.

Just some of the unique snacks at the Disneyland Resort

From macarons to churros, beignets to Tigger Tails, elote to Mac ‘n’ Cheese cones — snacking around Disneyland is a treat. But for us, there is one must-do every time we hit the ground in Orange County (and possibly every day we’re on property), and we’re about to tell you all about it.

To experience the most perfect Disneyland snack, we’ll need to head over the Disney’s California Adventure and make our way towards Paradise Pier. Nestled just past Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and in the shadow of Goofy’s Sky School is snack mecca … Corn Dog Castle.

Corn Dog Castle

Hidden behind the trees are the bright red and yellow awnings of the Corn Dog Castle, and it might be hard to see — except the best quick-service at Disneyland HAS ITS OWN BILLBOARD! And trust me, you’ll be able to find Corn Dog Castle by the switchback line of faithful corn dog lovers.

Let’s take a look at the menu, shall we?

Corn Dog Castle menu

Corn Dog Castle isn’t here for the frills — the menu is simple: some drinks, a hot-link corn dog and an OG corn dog. But then there’s what we’re here for … the CHEDDAR CHEESE STICK.

HEAVEN IS CHEESE ON A STICK

There she is … the Cheese on a Stick. Cheddar cheese on a stick, battered and fried to perfection.

Cheesy goodness in every bite.

I’m just tearing up looking at this and knowing I can’t have it.

Despite what the menu says, you can also order the Cheese on a Stick a la carte (aka without the bag of apples or small bag of Lays chips).

And now … the bad news …

Currently, Corn Dog Castle is not open to the public.

BUT WAIT!

All is not lost. If you are lucky enough to be able to venture to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, you can mobile order this cheesy piece of heaven from Award Wieners!

Oh hey, Legacy Passholder discount!

So, there you have it … the best snack at Disneyland!
