Each Friday, the Crescent Lake Club brings you the latest Foodie Find — a review of a dish, cocktail or even restaurant that you’ve been missing out on!

The Crescent Lake Club is fresh off their first visit to the 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! This yearly festival is running through November 20th, 2021. This Foodie Find is just the beginning of our Food & Wine coverage. Today’s is all about the spots that may help you cool off during a hot Florida day.

Appleseed Orchard is a great spot to hide out from the summer heat. Inside the Canada pavilion where you normally can find the 360 film “Canada Far and Wide” is a Food & Wine location. Now the orchard is mostly drinks but there are two food items, an apple crumble and apple chips. As you can see we did get the apple chips which were just some pre-packaged basic chips. Outside of that we tried out the Apple Blossom Sky and the beer flight which included the Apple Blonde Ale, Apple Pecan Brown Ale and Apple-y Ever After Green Apple Sour. Now the beer flight would be good for those that like tart beverages but wasn’t our favorite thing of the day. The Apple Blossom Sky was a frozen drink that came in a cool collectible mule like cup. It is topped with marshmallows which was a little strange in our eyes but overall this was the beverage winner of this stop.

Also in Canada but in the outside booth is a festival staple, the filet mignon from Le Cellier. Now this is one of the priciest options and portion size isn’t great however its still a delightful option that I go back for every year.

Shimmering Sips is a great refreshing location for this years festival. It is chalk full of drinks and even a soft serve option. We opted to try the mimosas and got one in the special collectible Corkcicles which is the presenting sponsor of this year’s festival. The Tropical Mimosa was my personal favorite but the Blood Orange was a close second. The Key Lime Mimosa rounded out the trio you can find here. I will definitely return to this location.

Over at Hawaii you can find the AULANI Sunrise which is a refreshing option. This is vodka, DOLEPineapple Juice, and Grenadine and may be my favorite drink of the entire festival. If you like a fruity but refreshing beverage definitely head here.

Next, we had Brew-Wing at the EPCOT Experience. This location features a ton of beverage options and of course wings. That is not all though, they also have flatbreads. We opted for the wings. Traditional Buffalo and BBQ were solid options. Disney does give you Ranch or Blue Cheese if you want it as well. These wings were not out of this world but if you are looking for an easy snack in an air conditioned space this is it.

Like I said this is only the beginning of our Food & Wine coverage. Stay tuned for more to come including even some significant lowlights of the festival.

Will you be heading to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival this year? If you already have what has been your favorite option?
