Each Friday, the Crescent Lake Club brings you the latest Foodie Find – a review of a dish, cocktail or even a restaurant that you’ve been missing out on!
Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to the official drink of the Crescent Lake Club — the Lamu Libation. However, that is not what we are here to talk about today. This fan-favorite lounge has several food options outside of the fantastic drink menu. I myself had a tough time picking one option from Nomad Lounge.
The beef or Impossible sliders are this week’s Foodie Find! I did sort of cheat as this is technically two different menu options, but it is the same thing just with a different protein. The sliders are offered with either beef or Impossible meat, and are served with chipotle aïoli and a side of yucca fries. Being the burger lover that I am, I stick with the beef option but it is great they offer a veggie option as well.
The menu at Nomad for food is quite limited and while it does tend to change, they typically have updated offerings on the tables when you arrive. The drink menu, however, stays pretty much the same and I think the Crescent Lake Club itself is keeping the Lamu Libation on the menu.
Some honorable mentions from Nomad Lounge would be the newer charcuterie board, as well as the Tiffins’ bread service — which is a smaller version of what you would find next door at Tiffins.
Nomad Lounge, for those that don’t know, is located right before you cross over into Pandora from Discovery Island and is attached to the park’s signature dining location — Tiffins. Nomad Lounge offers both indoor and outdoor seating. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the outdoor seating gives guests prime viewing of the entertainment floatillas that pass by featuring favorite Disney characters.
I will forever recommend someone go to Nomad Lounge. Space is limited though and a walk up list is usually in place, however you can typically join it via My Disney Experience app.
