Each Friday, the Crescent Lake Club brings you the latest Foodie Find — a review of a dish, cocktail or even restaurant that you’ve been missing out on!

Monorail crawls and drinking around the world at Epcot are pretty popular Walt Disney World activities with adult guests. Often overlooked are the hotels that maybe aren’t as easily accessible. One place we have mentioned in other pieces before on the Crescent Lake Club is Geyser Point at the Wilderness Lodge.

Geyser Point is still fairly new to the resort. It was added back when updates were being done in conjunction with Copper Creek villas and cabins being added for Disney Vacation Club. Ever since it opened it has become quite popular with frequent Disney goers. Geyser Point is not a full service dining where you need to make reservations but its also not a quick service location really either. It is really the only non-advanced dining reservation location at Walt Disney World. Now because of that it can get busy at times.

Geyser Point is nestled right along the shores of Bay Lake. It is a perfect spot on a nice sunny day to take a break from Magic Kingdom. Grab a drink, eat a snack, and just enjoy what Walt Disney World has to offer. Geyser Point isn’t just for the midday break either. It can be your dinner spot as well. One of the great things about its location is at night when the Electrical Water Pageant is floating along you can see it from the restaurant and bar. You can also catch a glimpse of the fireworks as well.

Geyser Point has an extensive drink menu where you can find all sorts of things to choose from. Some of my favorites are the Northwest Iced Tea (44° North Idaho Potato Vodka, Bacardi Superior Rum, Aviation American Gin, Cointreau and Sweet-and-Sour with a splash of Coca-Cola) and the Huckleberry Punch (44° North Mountain Huckleberry Vodka, Bols Crème de Cassis, Lemon Juice and Cranberry Juice).

Now as for some food to complement the drinks I have become a big fan of the Cheesy Barbecue Brisket which is house-made chips with a cheese barbecue brisket dip! They also have charcuterie and wings as small bites. There are a ton of great options to choose from that it would be hard to be disappointed.
