Disney is sharing more details for the upcoming holiday season today!
During Disney Very Merriest After Hours, guests will be able to see an all new stage show called “Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories.” This will be just for this special after hours event. You can see the show on one of 24 select nights between November 8th and December 21st, 2021. If you are not visiting during the after hours party, you can still take part in festive fun. Cinderella Castle will take on a festive appearance with special projections with rotating designs.
Guests will be able to see the most popular person during this time of year, Santa Claus! Santa will be driving down Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as well as voyaging down the Discovery River at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Merry Menagerie returns! Winter animals come to life in artisan-sculpted puppets. Reindeer, foes, polar bears, penguins and more will interact with guests on Discovery Island. Guests will also be able to spot some of their favorite characters sailing through the Discovery River in their holiday best. Tree of Life will also come to life with festive projections in addition to the Beacons of Magic as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Sunset Seasons Greeting returns on the Hollywood Tower Hotel. These will also alternate with the Beacons of Magic that take place for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration. A Frozen Sing-Along will also add a festive finale featuring Olaf!
And finally, Epcot will showcase the holiday celebrations that take place around the world with music, dance, and storytellers. The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays begins November 26th and will run through December 30th.
