Disney has announced that beginning March 27th, the KA WA’A Lu’au will be returning to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Reservation for this experience are available right now.
As other experiences have been modified during the reopening of Aulani, this experience will also be modified with guest and cast healthy and safety in mind. This experience takes place at night on the Halawai Lawn and immerses guests in live music, dances and the ancient stories of Hawai’i. Guests are encouraged prior to the show to participate in family activities that will now be enjoyed at their own tables. This includes flower arranging and poi pounding, which is a staple in the Hawaiian diet.
Included in the price of this experience is a three course plated meal that includes items like ahi poke and lomilomi salmon, imu-style braised pork, island fish, teriyaki chicken, local seasonal vegetables and a dessert trio! Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included as well. After the meal guests go on a journey through Hawaiian history accompanied by traditional music and dance.
This lu’au is offered three nights per week at 5 p.m. Seating is limited to maintain physical distancing between parties.
