Walt Disney World has announced some new food offerings coming to the resort this spring. This includes new offerings at the parks, resorts and Disney Springs!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Backlot Express will be serving up some new menu options beginning March 29th. The new menu will include Cuban Sandwich, Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork Burger, Teriyaki Tofu Bowl, and Chicken Southwest Salad. Cap off your meal with a Cookie Cookie!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also offering some new food items. At Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery, the new Marinated Pork Flatbread Sandwich featuring marinated pork atop of a cucumber-tomato salad, harissa aïoli, and greens with house-made chips, and the Spiced Potato Hand Pies, fried pastries with seasonal vegetables and potatoes will delight guests.
Across the park, guests can find a new Wilderness Explorer Cupcake to help explorers celebrate their adventures. At Pizzafari, a new Flamingo Badge Cupcake, a coconut cupcake with exotic fruit filling, coconut frosting, white chocolate pearls and a white chocolate flamingo badge can be found. Over at Flame Tree Barbecue, the new Dragonfly Badge Cupcake is a pink lemonade flavor with a strawberry compote filling and topped with lemon frosting and a dragonfly medallion. And finally, the Dinosaur Badge Cupcake can be found at Restaurantosaurus and is a chocolate cake with a cookie cheesecake filling, finished with chocolate frosting and a white chocolate dinosaur badge!
Disney’s Coronado Springs
Over at Disney’s Coronado Springs, guests can now experience live music on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Barcelona Lounge! You can even build your own Gin and Tonic while you enjoy the tunes.
Disney’s Old Key West
Disney’s Old Key West made an update to the menu at Olivia’s Cafe and Gurgling Suitcase Libations & Spirits, Shrimp Fritters have been added as new quick bite option.
Disney’s Grand Floridian
The highly coveted Victoria & Albert’s will reopen its doors later this year. This AAA Four Diamond award winning restaurant has been closed since the pandemic started.
Disney Springs
Swirls on the Water replaced AristoCrepes recently in Disney Springs on the Marketplace side. This kiosk will feature signature items like DOLE Whip Lime & Habanero Soft-serve Nachos featuring waffle cone chips topped with DOLE Whip lime and habanero soft-serve, mango boba pearls, Tajin spice, raspberry sauce, and whipped cream, or the 50th Celebration Cone with a DOLE Whip lemon and cookie dough soft serve swirl. Guests can also get the DOLE Whip Flight featuring all six of the featured swirl flavors and there is even a Sangria Float featuring DOLE Whip and red wine sangria!
