The final ship to return in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet, Norwegian Spirit, is now back in service. Norwegian first relaunched post covid shutdown with the Norwegian Jade on July 25th, 2021.
Norwegian Spirit went through a $100 million revitalization and will be sailing the South Pacific. Itinerary highlights will include visits to Bora Bora and Raiatea, which is considered the most sacred island in the South Pacific. Other destinations include Nāwiliwili, Kaua’i, Mount Temehani and more. This special sailing departed from Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia Saturday, May 7, 2022, and disembarks on Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Honolulu, Oahu.
New spaces on the Norwegian Spirit have been added during its revitalization. Norwegian has doubled the size of the Mandara Spa that features a new thermal suite and relaxation areas. Pulse Fitness Center also expanded. New complimentary dining venues include an additional main dining room, Taste; the 24-hour eatery, The Local Bar and Grill; the all-day dining outlet, Garden Café; the Great Outdoors Bar; and Waves Pool Bar. There is also a new nightclub called The Social Comedy & Night Club as well as Spinnaker Lounge which features the Humidor Cigar Lounge. A new adults only lounge called Spice H2O, which includes two new hot tubs and a dedicated bar which will transform into an after-hours entertainment venue.
