Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend
For over 30 years, Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend has been the premiere runDisney event.
Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend began in 1994 with just a marathon and family fun run. Today it’s nearly a full week of running fun with thousands of people from around the world.

2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend – January 8th-12th, 2025

USATF Certified Course Results between January 1st, 2022 and July 1st, 2024
Full Marathon POT must be a 10-Miler, Half Marathon or Marathon
Half Marathon POT must be a 10K, 10-Miler, Half Marathon or Marathon
5K and 10K distances do not use POTs
Proof of Time is required if you believe you will finish the half marathon in 2 hours and 30 minutes or the marathon in 5 hours or less. Times over that are not required.

Princess Half Marathon Weekend
runDisney’s female focused weekend!
Beginning in 2009, Princess Half Marathon Weekend has been a staple in female empowerment. Roughly 80% of the field each year consists of females. Themes are female focused but change year to year.

Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend
runDisney’s Food & Wine inspired weekend with an after party!
Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend occurs annually in conjunction with EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival. It is the only race weekend that features an after party at EPCOT for runners who participated in the half or challenge.

Springtime Surprise
It’s a surprise every year! Theme’s and potentially race distances change year to year.
Beginning in 2022, Springtime Surprise took over for Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend. Race themes change year to year and runDisney has said race distances could change. So far, it is the only weekend to feature a 10-Miler.

Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend
Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend returned for the first time in 6 years in 2024.
Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend used to take place in September around Labor Day annually. It has now moved to January and those who take part in a Walt Disney World 10-Miler or greater and Disneyland half can earn the coveted Coast to Coast medal.

Brand new runDisney event for 2024!
Disneyland has brought back an early September race for 2024 with the first ever Holiday themed weekend. Halloween Half Marathon Weekend features fan favorites such as Haunted Mansion, and Nightmare Before Christmas!
