Disney has announced today that beginning September 23rd at Disney’s Hollywood Studios the extremely popular attraction Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will transition to a normal standby queue. Prior to this point in time, the attraction as been using a virtual queue system.
The attraction opened in late 2019 and has been utilizing the virtual queue or boarding groups during its entire existence. Guests will be able to now utilize the standby line like most other attractions and check the My Disney Experience app for wait times throughout the day.
Disney’s newest attraction Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Epcot will open with a virtual queue system in place on October 1st. Guests will also be able to utilize Disney Genie and Lightning Lane for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance when that service debuts later this fall. This is only for Disney’s Hollywood Studios at this time.
