Disney announced today that Disney’s BoardWalk Resort will be recovering some big changes. The changes begin inside with updates to the guest rooms as well as an all new look to the lobby. As part of the lobby changes, a new coffee bar will be added.
Outside will also include some big changes. Replacing the former ESPN Club, “The Cake Bake Shop” by Gwendolyn Rogers will being a new table service restaurant and bakery to the EPCOT Resort area. Due to this, the beloved BoardWalk Bakery will see some changes as well. Focusing less on the sweet treats, the new venue inside the Bakery will be a new sandwich shop. Other spots like BoardWalk Ice Cream will remain.
Disney says “light and airy touches will reinvigorate the lobby, lounge and guest rooms, carrying the seaside breeze right inside. Just off the lobby, a new coffee bar with artisanal beverages and quick bites will be available to-go or in newly refreshed seating spaces inside or outdoors.”
