We noticed yesterday that Walt Disney World had made changes to their ticket pricing for the rest of the year. Historically each February, Walt Disney World raises ticket prices. Since Disney switched to a date based pricing calendar these changes have been harder to track.

Using data from Mousesavers.com, we went through the ticket options and found just how much pricing ranges increased. Price ranges for 1-2 day and even 3-day tickets did not increase in some cases however specific dates did. This means the average price of those tickets would have increased but the max and minimum prices did not. Please note that all pricing includes tax. These charts are also for adult priced tickets only. Tickets for kids ages 3-9 will be slightly cheaper.

As previously noted, some ranges didn’t change at all or changed very slightly. That does not mean price changes did not happen throughout the entire calendar for those ticket options though. Our friends at BlogMickey.com did a breakdown today that showed the month by month average price change for single day tickets. For example, in March single day tickets saw an average increase of just over $1. Come October the average single day ticket increased by even more to over $6.

One interesting details is the summer months. June-August seemed to change the least of them all. This would lead us to believe less people are planning on visiting in the summer months. Historically, summer was a very busy period but in recent years things have shifted to the spring and fall being much busier times to visit. It has truly become increasingly harder to really predict what crowds will be like at any given time at Walt Disney World.

Hopefully this breakdown of the new pricing is helpful to you. If you have further questions or are looking to book that next Walt Disney World trip before pricing increases even more, be sure to reach out to your Crescent Lake Club agent today!
