Disney vacations can be overwhelming. Where do I stay? Where should I eat (and what are these ADR’s I keep hearing about)? What order should I do the parks in? What do I bring to the park?!

In this series, I will give you a glimpse inside my park bag to help you better plan your days in Disney. Because no one trip is the same, I will address different types of trips; girls trips, family trips, pool trips, and more.

Today I will share a few things that you will find in my park bag for a girls trip!! This is the trip where you will don your cutest matching outfits with your best gals, leave the kids at home, and spend most of your time in World Showcase.

The Bag

Everyone has an opinion on the best type of bag to bring to the park.  If I am going for a full day, I will always go with a backpack.  Backpacks distribute weight evenly on both shoulders and provide plenty of storage for all of your stuff.  For our most recent girls trip, I picked up this bag from the Disney Store (RIP New Orleans store!).  I am not a pin collector but I have a few and I ALWAYS pick up the complementary “I’m Celebrating!” or “Happy Birthday” button and this bag is perfect to display them.  It also has a laptop pouch which is great if you need to “work from home” while in the parks.

Fuel Rod

Just get one.  Other people will boast about their external chargers that last all day but just get the Fuel Rod.  Because when you forget to charge your external charger or yours does run out, can you exchange your non-Fuel Rod charger in park? Nope! If you have a Fuel Rod you can exchange it for a fresh one at stations throughout the Walt Disney World property for free! Buy one on Amazon (for less than in the park) before you go to the parks and exchange it as many times as you need throughout your trip!

Water Bottle

With all trips, it is important to stay hydrated.  If your girls trip looks anything like mine, you will definitely need to stay on top of your hydration after a few trips ’round the world.  I like my Blender Bottle.  It has a wide mouth, holds 28 ounces, and is super helpful to mix up some extra hydration help (see below).

Liquid IV

I. LOVE. THIS. STUFF.  I use it every day.  It has electrolytes and essential vitamins to up your hydration game and comes in multiple flavors.  My favorite flavor is strawberry.  Throw some in your bag, mix it up mid day, then grab another margarita from La Cava!

Thigh Rescue

Real talk. It is hot in Florida.  Your skin will rub together somewhere on your body and it may cause some chaffing.  No shame! It happens to all of us.  The best product that I have found is MegaBabe Thigh Rescue Anti Chafe Stick.  It is not greasy, lasts a long time, and has a pleasant (but not overwhelming) smell.

Feminine Products

I love Disney and I think they do most things REALLY well.  However, should Aunt Flo unexpectedly decided to join your girls trip, it may be hard to find some necessary essentials in the park (as a friend recently found out).  Save yourself the walk around all of World Showcase searching for the elusive feminine product and throw some extras in your park bag.

What else do you bring with you when you are in Disney with your girls?
