Disney and Disney Vacation Club have announced today that The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be expanding.
One existing building of hotel rooms at The Grand Floridian will be reimagined and converted into DVC villas. Big Pine Key (building nine) will become 200 resort studios accommodating up to five guests. These new villas will offer members luxury accommodations and amenities with stunning views of Bay Lake and the Magic Kingdom. These studios are projected to open in summer 2022. These new villas will be part of the current condominium association. Information on sales and rental bookings will be released at a later date.
