Year after year, Walt Disney World and Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrate Earth Day in new and exciting ways. This year is no different. Here is some of what you can expect during this year’s Earth Day festivities.
From April 18th through April 24th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will celebrate Earth Day. Guests will be able learn about animal species, and take part in fun activities that showcase the conservation work happening around the world. Wilderness Explorers will be able to earn a special Earth Day Nature badge as part of this.
Special Disney PhotoPass opportunities will be available including Wall-E and Eve from Disney and Pixar’s animated feature “Wall-E.” There will also be a limited edition Earth Day 2022 pin to commemorate the celebration.
Can’t forget about specialty treats too! Plenty of merchandise and food offerings will be available during this week long celebration. Disney’s Animal Kingdom also celebrates it’s 24th birthday on Earth Day! Will you be on hand to celebrate?
