We are one week away from the first ever runDisney Springtime Surprise race weekend! This all new weekend brings back old runDisney favorites in a fun throwback experience. The Expedition Everest 5K, Race for the Taste 10K and the Tower of Terror 10-miler are all back in 2022. The fun thing about this race weekend is the fact it will change year to year.
So, in advance of this weekend, runDisney is giving us our first look at the merchandise you will be able to find at the event.
As you can see, the shoe ornament is back! This fun item was missing from the 2022 Marathon Weekend and Princess Half Marathon Weekend line up and was delayed as part of the 2021 Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend. I for one will be in line for that. You can also see a new item for runDisney in some colorful shorts! They don’t typically do shorts at race weekends.
Always popular race weekend merchandise is back as well including finishers shirts for runners to show off their accomplishments. You will also be able to find the ever popular weekend spirit jersey. Annual Passholders will have exclusive merchandise to choose from as well.
runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend participants and guests are invited to attend the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at ESPN Wide World of Sports during the following dates and times:
- Thursday, March 31, 2022: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Friday, April 1, 2022: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
- Saturday, April 2, 2022: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
