Carnival Cruise Line has made some updates to its 2022 plans including two ships leaving the Carnival fleet.
In Jacksonville, Florida, the Carnival Spirit will replace the Carnival Ecstasy. This will happen for departures from March 7th through April 9th, 2022. The next two cruises will be cancelled and a new ship will be assigned to the Jacksonville itineraries as of April 23rd, 2022.
In Mobile, Alabama, Carnival Ecstasy will reposition for departures from March 5th through October 10th, 2022. Cruises that were planned on the Carnival Sensation from October 15th, 2022 through September 30th, 2023 from Mobile will be cancelled. Carnival will soon update their plans for Mobile.
In Australia, Carnival is cancelling planned operations of Carnival Splendor from June 10th through September 26th, 2022 as well as Carnival Spirit from June 5th, 2022 through October 5th, 2023. Carnival will share their Australia plans at a later date.
Carnival Sensation will not restart guest operations and Carnival Ecstasy will have its last cruise in guest operations on October 10th, 2022. Both ships will then leave the Carnival fleet.
