Last week I showed you some of the things I pack for a girls trip.  Today I will the contents of my bag when I have the kids in tow!  In addition to all the things you need for a normal outing with your family, consider adding these items to your packing list for your next Disney trip.

The Bag(s)

I have a 5 year old and a 1 year old and their needs in the park are pretty different.  On recent trips, I have found it really helpful utilize multiple bags that are organized by need.  I put diapers, wipes, etc. in one.  I put snacks and feeding supplies in another.  Everything else goes in our normal diaper bag.  This way if I need to go change the baby’s diaper, I don’t leave my husband without snacks when the older kid inevitably needs a snack as soon as I walk away.  Packing cubes work really great for this.

Ziploc Bags

These are the real MVP of any item in my bag.  Leftover corn dog nuggets from Casey’s? Throw them in a Ziploc.  Potty accident? Put those soiled clothes in a Ziploc and keep everything else clean.  Trying to take a video on Splash Mountain before it changes? Protect that phone in a Ziploc!  I really think we find a different use for these things each time we go.  Also, you can usually find cute Disney themed printed bags at Target or on Amazon!

Water Bottle

Kids need to stay hydrated too!  Remember that you can get free iced water at any quick service food location.  I like to grab a few of those and dump them in a reusable water bottle.  Disney has also started to install some water bottle refilling stations throughout the park which is great!  There are hundreds of options for water bottles out there.  For my kids, I like the Zak brand.  They are insulated, have a spout cover to keep it clean, and come with a variety of character themes.

Poncho/Rain Jacket

If you are going to Florida in the summer, it is definitely going to rain.  If you are going to Florida any other time of the year, it is probably going to rain.  Make sure you have something to keep you and the kids dry.  My husband and I both have these pocket parkas from Uniqlo which are light weight and very portable.  We also have a collection of Disney ponchos.  They are pretty heavy duty and Disney will replace yours if it rips during your trip!

Bonus Tip: If you rent from Kingdom Strollers, they include a free stroller rain cover with your rental!!

Popcorn Bucket

If you have followed me for any length of time, you have heard me sing the praises of the Disney Souvenir Popcorn Bucket.  You can purchase your initial souvenir bucket for as little as $12 (price increases for specialty buckets such as this Little Green Man) and get refills for $2 during your length of stay!! IMO, it is the best deal on Disney property especially since my 5 year old can polish off a whole bucket in about 12.5 seconds.

And remember, if you forget any of those essentials, the Baby Care Center probably has it!

What else do you need for a day in the parks with your kids?
